Muldoon Sesions at Cafe Nema every Sunday night.

Cafe Nema is the Cheers of U St; everybody knows your name.  It was one of the first clubs to reintroduce Jazz to U St.  It is a Bar and Somalian restaurant, the food is a wonderful mix of Somali and Nubian delicacies.  Me and great Jazz bassist Eric Wheeler explore musical possibility with guest artist joining us each Sunday.  Abiola Adams will be blessing the mic with her beautiful voice and so far we have had different musicians and singers come and sit in almost every Sunday for the past two years.  It often gets quite magical.  Come by and hang with us while we keep the spirit of the U St. of the late 90’s and early 00’s alive.

Pete Muldoon Trio is playing every Friday and Saturday night at Indulj

There is a new and very hot spot that has just opened up on U. st  It is called Indulj.  It is a lounge upstairs and downstairs a Soul food Restaurant and the food is excellent.  We play on Friday’s and Saturdays from 7pm to 11pm to warm the place up for the DJ and and the Dancers.   We usually start real chill, with some strait ahead and some blues and then we start getting real funky and then thing sometimes get crazy.  It’s a real nice atmosphere and the people there are beautiful, on the inside and outside.
